The narrator is Sugar, a southern mutt rescued from an animal shelter. Her unique voice allows one to hit the ground running, to see the world and all those ivolved from a four-legged perspective. One night while Sugar is visitng her best friendm a Collie named Sassy, and a cat named Gizmo, the kitty accidentally boots a computer with Skype, leading to a conversation with an unknown cousin, a giant Schnauzer in Germany. Thus beings a cultural exchange and great friendships. Think Bre’r Rabbit meets Huckleberry Finn and you have the Sweeness of Sugar.
